About the role
As a 3PL Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes. From managing third-party partnerships to optimising inventory levels, you'll be at the forefront of driving efficiency and maximising performance.
We are looking for an experienced, hands on Warehouse Supervisor to join our Auckland team, working Monday to Friday from 1pm - 9pm.
In this full time role you will be responsible for all inbound/outbound activities in our 3PL Warehouse as well as leading a team to ensure that the productivity, quality and overall performance continues to meet our high expectations. Our customers are a key focus for us and we aim to provide a fantastic service to them, you will be a key part in making this happen.
Key tasks:
- Supervising the operation to ensure timely, accurate and efficient processing of customer orders.
- Supervise and inspire a team of logistics professionals to achieve operational excellence.
- Maintain storage area by organising floor space; adhering to storage design principles; and recommending improvements.
- Assist in the implementation of new customers.
- Maintain inventory by conducting physical counts and assisting the Warehouse Administrator with reconciling variances and conducting investigations and corrective actions where required.
- Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Ensure that health & safety and compliance procedures are met and your team is safe at all times.
Key Attributes:
- Minimum of 1 years experience in a Supervisor role, preferably in logistics.
- Proven track record of effectively leading people and resources to achieve operational goals.
- Strong understanding of warehousing processes and operations, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.

A current OSH approved Forklift and Reach Truck licence and experience operating a reach truck is required. Prior experience in chilled and frozen is preferred but not required.
