YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform quality inspections on production samples in line with AQL procedures.

• Review and approve colours and fabrics submitted by suppliers.

• Check measurements, design details and specifications using tech packs and quality plans.

• Update Pivot88 with inspection data, results and supporting information.

• Support PPS approval activities before production.

• Use SAP for goods receipt and picking-order transactions.

• Support the physical and accounting inventory of the laboratory and SQM warehouse.

• Organise shipments to suppliers through courier portals and support the disposal of non-conforming garments.

• Communicate with suppliers and collaborate with internal teams including AFA Logistics, Accounting, GBS, the Milan Product team and the Agordo laboratory.

• Contribute to team projects and provide operational support according to business priorities.

• You have a technical or educational background in the textile and/or fashion sector.

• You are passionate about product quality, materials, fit and details.

• You enjoy hands-on activities and approach inspections with accuracy and attention.

• You are comfortable working with tech packs, quality plans and structured procedures.

• You have a good command of English and can communicate effectively with international suppliers.

• You are a true team player, flexible and ready to support colleagues when priorities change.

• You are enthusiastic, versatile, passionate and humble.

• You are available for occasional same-day travel to other Luxottica sites in Italy and to suppliers.

• You are confident with Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP, Pivot88 and PLM would be a plus.

• You are comfortable with an early working schedule when needed to collaborate with Asian suppliers.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

You will put your hands-on different challenges. You will support the Managers and the Functional Team working within a dynamic, markedly young and international environment, and you will have the opportunity to face a stimulating and constantly evolving business.

As a Supply Chain & Logistics Intern, you will be working across different functions to grow your skillset at a Local and Corporate/Operations level, experiencing the Supply Chain Planning, Transportation, or Logistics. Some examples of functions you may experience are: Store Planning, International Logistics, Master Production Scheduling, Supply Chain Project Management, De-mand Planning, Transport Analysis, Capacity Planning, Procurement, Sourcing.
