Account Manager role involves working in a fast-paced, rewarding team environment to develop sales of Diagnostics & Regulated Materials in the various industrial accounts to achieve quarterly and annual targets. You will be responsible to execute yearly plan to optimize sales and new products in growth segments. There will be opportunity learning to drive sales through key account management, digitalization and account-based marketing. You will have to build deeper customer relationships with better understanding on their application needs, perform proactive outbound activities to seal business deals.
The Account Manager can be based out of Hyderabad and Mumbai
Your Role
- Achieve and exceed DxRM targets within the region.
- Promote DxRM capabilities and generate new leads by collaborating with India Labs, Sourcing teams, and regional teams to convert opportunities into continuous business.
- Monitor and analyze DxRM product portfolios; develop competitive strategies and pricing based on technical evaluation and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with global and internal teams to address technical gaps and develop sources for technology and raw material supply.
- Plan, design, and implement sales campaigns, process improvements, and marketing initiatives in alignment with regional goals.
- Conduct critical technical analysis of new chemistry leads to guide pricing strategies and business decisions.
- Maintain regular engagement with existing and prospective customers through visits and relationship management.
- Continuously identify market and product diversification opportunities to expand the business.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting, analysis, and maintenance of the customer database for the region.
Who You Are
- PhD in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences with 3-4 years’ hands-on experience in Pharma/CRO, or Master’s in the same fields with 6-7 years’ overall experience including lab work in Pharma/CRO
- Management, sales, or relevant industry research experience is preferred. Techno-commercial exposure is essential
- Must have knowledge of sales/marketing processes
- Strong influence and impact across organizational levels
- Committed to a customer-centric approach
- Proficient in reading and interpreting financial and accounting reports
- Empathetic with a strong sense of urgency
- Proven ability to influence and sell to all levels
- Excellent presentation skills to communicate effectively to all levels
- Strong knowledge about customers, competition landscape and market trend
- Open mind to the new ideas and high aspiration on career development
- Diligent and effective getting things done with good knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce
