Accountant (Part-Time)

About the RoleWe’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accountant who enjoys digging into data, spotting inconsistencies, and improving how things work. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup or small-business environment—comfortable wearing multiple hats, collaborating cross-functionally, and taking ownership of their work. You’ll begin in a part-time capacity, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the business continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities• Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks • Reconcile accounts, review transactions, and ensure overall data accuracy • Partner with team members across operations and leadership to resolve discrepancies and gather financial information • Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement • Prepare and review core financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives • Ensure adherence to accounting best practices and internal controls • Be available during the workday for occasional calls or check-ins (morning or afternoon EST overlap required)
