$39.90 to $42.86  Hourly  + 13% super

Join our team as an Administration Officer

 

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and providing high-quality administrative and financial support? Supporting the Parks and Conservation Services Unit, which plays a vital role in maintaining Council owned parks, natural areas, and community spaces across Redland City, this position is key to ensuring the smooth behind-the-scenes coordination that keeps these services running effectively. 

 

This role operates on a fortnightly schedule of 7.25 hour days, working Monday to Wednesday one week and Thursday to Friday the next. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Delivering high-quality customer service by responding to enquiries and providing accurate information and advice.
  • Providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Parks and Conservation unit.
  • Supporting financial processes, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices and managing deliveries.
  • Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives, including developing and enhancing administrative systems and processes.
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment and participating in team activities.

 

 

Skills and experience:

 

  • Strong customer service and administrative skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and resolve enquiries effectively.
  • Demonstrated financial administration experience, including invoicing, purchase orders, and expenditure monitoring.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
