Job Summary
St. Paul Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled, dedicated Art teacher to join our school community. The teacher will provide high-quality, standards-based instruction while fostering spiritual growth and modeling Catholic values.
Job Responsibilities
· Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate art lessons for students
· Introduce and reinforce art concepts, techniques, and art history
· Foster creativity, imagination, and appreciation for the arts
· Integrate faith, culture, and creativity into art instruction when appropriate
· Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging art classroom
· Display student artwork and support school-wide art projects and events
· Communicate effectively with school administration and classroom teachers
· Assess student learning and provide meaningful feedback
· Support students’ academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development
· Follow all school policies and Archdiocesan guidelines
· Model Christian values and uphold the mission of Catholic education
Job Requirements
Required
· Bachelor’s degree in Art, Education, or a related field
· Strong organizational, classroom management, and communication skills
· Dependable, creative, and professional demeanor
· Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education
Preferred
· Valid teaching certification or eligibility
· Previous experience teaching art in a school setting
· Experience working with a variety of age levels and skill ranges
· Practicing Catholic or willingness to support Catholic faith practices
Working Conditions
· School-based instruction
· Frequent interaction with students and faculty
· Ability to stand, move about the classroom, and manage art materials
· Schedule aligned with the school calendar
