We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Assistant Director Data and Analytics

In this role, you will: 

  • Partner with data engineering/technology teams to enable robust, efficient pipelines and scalable solutions (advantageous where hands-on).
  • Convert business problems into well-defined analytical problem statements and solution approaches.
  • Conduct high-quality analysis on large, complex datasets; produce clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Design, develop and implement scalable analytics solutions (portfolio performance, customer behaviour, risk metrics, operational insights).
  • Produce high-quality presentations and storytelling for senior stakeholders; communicate complex concepts clearly to mixed audiences.
  • The role holder shall also be expected to guide and lead team members from a functional perspective and help them build up a strong culture of delivery and professionalism

To be successful you will:

  • 9+ years of hands-on data analysis experience solving complex business problems using data
  • A degree in MBA with Bachelors in Engineering / Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or other numerical discipline, equivalent with relevant work experience in Data related technologies
  • Experience working with significant data volumes and deep knowledge of relational database management.
  • Hands-on data modelling experience.
  • Conduct in depth reviews and analysing data from reports to deliver observations, detail changes and identify the root cause
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas
