What You’ll Do:
Business partnering
- Responsible for the leading the annual budgeting and forecasting exercises, including preparation of materials for presentation to senior management
- Work with business on cost-plus model budget, assess financial data to identify areas of opportunities for operational efficiency
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis, and monitor key performance indicators
- Support business on business case development, reviewing cost structures, financial planning for bid and tender proposals
- Providing support on finance matters and accounting advice to the business users
- Collaborate with the leadership and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
- Provide support to conceptualise and operationalise plans and processes
Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain the accounting books for entities and ensure accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards
- Perform revenue and cost tracking for projects, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with budget targets
- Facilitate accurate GL coding and cost center assignments for billing and procurement activities
- Review GST workings and submissions
- Liaise with internal and external auditors on all engagements and coordination
- Initiate half-yearly stocktake exercises, perform inventory reconciliations and work with warehouse staff to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in performing credit assessment reviews for new customers
- Perform true-up exercises for intercompany digital fees chargeable, including simulations and variance analysis
What You’ll Need:
- Degree in Accountancy from a recognised university
- 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge in using SAP and BPC would be an advantage
- Good writing and interpersonal skills
- Conversant with MS Office
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, hands-on, resourceful and with an eye for details
- Effective team player, highly motivated and independent
