EE Position

 

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Product Support Manager to provide technical leadership and oversight for a defined group of products within our Product Support Services Division. The role manages a team of product specialists and ensures technical insight, product quality, field campaign execution, service process governance, and machine modification quality across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a technically strong professional with solid people management capability and deep industry experience.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualification: 

    • Trade Certificate: Millwright or Electrical (essential)
    • Advanced Certificate or Diploma (NQF Level 6) (advantage)
  • Experience:

    • Minimum 10 years’ technical experience within the construction and/or mining industry (KLTD product knowledge) (essential)
    • Minimum 5 years Product Support experience
    • Minimum 3 years’ leadership/supervisory experience
  • Valid driver’s licence

  • Valid passport/able to obtain

  • Systems Proficiency: SAP, BI tools, Salesforce/SQIS, Komtrax, Komserve (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of product support specialists for a defined product group
  • Provide expert technical product support and insight to internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee technical field campaigns, product quality control, and machine modifications
  • Manage service processes, systems, and adjudication of claims and costs
  • Drive continuous improvement through technical investigations and data-driven insights
  • Ensure compliance with OEM standards, legislation, and internal policies
  • Support change initiatives, budgeting, performance management, and staff development
  • Engage with suppliers, OEMs, and customer sites to resolve complex technical issues
