At Parkside Utility Construction, as an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll partner with internal divisions in the preparation, execution, and completion of projects and participate in the day-to-day activities of Parkside's Project Management function. This is under the direction of the Operations Management Team.

What you’ll do
- Assist senior project management leadership members with the day-to-day supervision, oversight and execution of plans..
- Track department progress in achieving goals, proactively report on progress, and adjust associated strategies and processes, as appropriate.
- Provide feedback to cross-functional teams and fosters interactions with other departments to ensure the successful execution of all project management activities.
- Ensure that the organization's Project Management activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
- Read and analyze engineering drawings to create accurate bill of materials
- Train new team members on billing processes and procedures
- Complete data entry tasks across multiple platforms
- Assist in developing project schedules, timelines, and work breakdown structures.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Serve as a central point of contact for project-related inquiries and information dissemination.
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes.
- Prepare presentations and reports for various stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need

To be 18 years of age or older

Authorization to work in the United States for this company

Typically requires progressive experience in Project Management

A bachelor’s degree in business, science or a related field

Understanding of Fiber Telecommunications Construction

Seasoned change management skills

Expert interpersonal, communication and data management skill
