As the Associate Brand Manager for Personal Care at Tom's of Maine, you will develop and commercialize end-to-end marketing strategies that achieve ambitious share, sales, and profit targets. By driving our business forward, you enable us to fulfill our core mission: doing more good.

Responsibilities: 

Strategic Leadership & Brand Growth

  • Drive the Vision: Develop and implement robust brand strategies grounded in sound analytics, consumer data, and market insights.
  • Own the Business: Act as the strategic owner of the portfolio, driving Brand Growth Plans, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), and Funding the Growth (FTG) strategies.
  • Manage the Financials: Oversee all business financials, including comprehensive brand P&L budgeting, forecasting, and tracking.
  • Uncover Insights: Develop and activate people-centric insights driven by a keen understanding of cultural trends, customer behavior, and data synthesis.

Marketing Execution & Innovation

  • Launch & Innovate: Spearhead the launch of new products and build impactful go-to-market strategies.
  • Craft the Message: Participate in brand planning, brief brand communication strategies, and partner with key agencies to deliver high-impact, integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Empower Sales: Partner closely with the sales team to translate brand strategies into captivating selling stories for our retail partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations

  • Lead the Team: Motivate and guide a cross-functional team (Customer Development, R&D, Insights, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to prioritize and execute commercialization efforts.
  • Run the Day-to-Day: Oversee everyday operations, including budget management, plant volume forecasting, and seamless communication among key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree ideally in Marketing, Finance, Sales or related fields
  • 6+ years or 4+ years with MBA/Masters of commercial experience, preferably in Marketing or Sales
  • Key involvement in Business Analysis, Marketing Plan development, and cross-functional project management

  • Data-Driven Strategist: Combines strong analytical skills with creativity and curiosity to develop growth-oriented strategies.
  • Proactive & Resilient: A self-directed, high-initiative worker who remains agile and focused in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Cross-Functional Catalyst: Expert at navigating all levels of management to influence stakeholders and build seamless, collaborative partnerships.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Possesses the interpersonal skills necessary to drive results through teamwork and shared goals.
  • Naturals Specialist: Driven by a deep passion for and comprehensive understanding of the Naturals Category.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $ - $ USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
