Our Team, Your Impact
The Associate Director National Sales - OTC is responsible for leading the national OTC sales force, defining and executing the commercial strategy, and developing high-performing teams to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
Please note we are happy to consider candidates based in any location in Spain (fieldbased).
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Develop and implement national strategic and tactical sales plans.
- Lead and manage the OTC sales team across different territories.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to managers, sales representatives, and Key Account Managers (KAMs).
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and drive results.
- Strengthen commercial capabilities within the OTC business area.
- Drive the implementation of value-based programs for customers.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and coordinate regional events.
- Support negotiations with key accounts.
- Contribute to strategic organizational projects.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the OTC pharmaceutical industry, including 5+ years in sales leadership roles with proven success in team and revenue growth
- Fluent in Spanish; proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Recognized as a mentor and leader with strong strategic, financial, and people management skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Office Suite; familiarity with data tools and CRM systems is a plus
- Strong customer orientation with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
- Proven leadership in change management and team development
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, primarily within Spain; occasional international travel required
