Our Team, Your Impact
Currently we are looking for а qualified and motivated candidate for the role of experienced Associate Director OPEX, part of the OPEX Department based in Troyan manufacturing site.
The Role:
Associate Director OPEX leads the implementation of the company’s Operational Excellence and Production System standards, driving sustainable improvements in quality, service, productivity, and cost performance. Partners with and coaches site leadership and employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement, engagement, and empowerment across the organization.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
• Lead and sustain the site’s continuous improvement and Operational Excellence (OpEx) programs, ensuring consistent execution and high-quality outcomes.
• Drive, coordinate, and monitor improvement projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of expected business benefits.
• Act as Project Manager for selected improvement, transformation, or modernization projects when required.
• Support the implementation, governance, and long-term sustainability of the Teva Lean Management System (TLMS) framework, including assessments, pillar confirmations, and leadership ecosystem activities.
• Develop and manage systems for idea generation, evaluation, prioritization, and conversion into improvement projects.
• Define, align, and track site Operational Excellence goals and KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and corporate expectations.
• Analyze site performance data, identify improvement opportunities, initiate corrective actions, and ensure effective follow-up.
• Build Operational Excellence capabilities across the organization through coaching, training, cross-functional collaboration, and support of change management initiatives.
Your Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in a Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational
• Strong knowledge of Operational Excellence methodologies, Lean principles, and structured continuous improvement systems.
• Demonstrated project management experience with a successful track record of leading cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Experience in change management and driving organizational transformation programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and translate findings into actionable improvements.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Proactive, action-oriented mindset with high enthusiasm, adaptability, conflict management skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
