Divisional Overview:
The Operations division provides the support and control infrastructure that enables the Firm to develop and deliver financial products throughout the world. Working with the Sales, Trading and Information Technology Divisions, Operations professionals are responsible for the management and execution of transactions to maximize profitability and minimize risk. Our division is responsible for the management and execution of millions of securities transactions on a daily basis. Our responsibilities include trade processing, confirmation, settlement, fails management, margin, asset servicing, risk management, reference data management and various other client services. In partnership with sales, trading, prime services, information technology and other teams from across the bank, we apply a continual focus on improving productivity and efficiency, while seeking new and innovative ways to support our clients' changing needs
Business Overview:
The role of Shared Services is to support the activities of the Global Markets and IBD businesses. The division operates across many global legal entities in order to perform a diverse range of client servicing, risk management and regulatory functions, as well as the more traditional clearing and settlement responsibilities. Specifically, India Shared Services provides a level of support for all the regions and entities that the above services are provided in locally. It is further subdivided into the following highly specialized teams.

- •Affirming cash-flow economic details with counterparties
- •Discrepancy Resolution:
- •Closely liaising with counterparties & MO’s to identify & resolve discrepancies
- •Funding projections
- •Effective coordination with Cash Management for correct funding projections
- •Agent Queries:
- •Working efficiently with nostro agent banks for critical payments & receipts
- •Fails Management
- •RCA & resolution of failed settlements in Gloss Cash
- •Nostro Reconciliation
- •Resolving assigned nostro breaks
- •DCC Reconciliation
- •Expected (FOS Systems) v/s Actual (BO Systems)
