Overall Purpose: Responsible for the overall shift operation in terms of production, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and human resources. Manage all aspects of the shift through collaborative working with the other Managers for delivering, and where possible, exceeding, the KPIs within operation. Strive to continually improve using Lean tools to reduce costs, improve production and quality. Act independently at the organisational level. 

• Position Title: Shift Manager Production

• Grade: M1 - Asst Manager

• Location: Nagpur Plant

• Required Qualification: BE/BTech

• Eligibility: ME to M1 qualified pool

• Roles and Responsibilities:

• • Manage daily production operations to meet targets.
  • Ensure process compliance and reduce scrap (fabric & cured tyres).
  • Drive safety practices (unsafe act reporting, HIRA).
  • Monitor plan vs. actual production and take corrective action.
  • Lead 5S, SMT, kaizens, and audits for continuous improvement.
  • Engage and motivate team members for productivity and ownership.
