We are embarking on an exciting project to develop comprehensive digital textbooks for the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics (K to 6). We're seeking an experienced primary educator to lead this initiative on a 6 to 12-month remote contract, overseeing content creation and ensuring our materials meet the highest standards of curriculum alignment and pedagogical quality. This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines deep expertise in the Australian Curriculum with a passion for leveraging modern tools (including AI) to transform how educational content is developed and delivered.

The role will involve:• Leading the development of K-6 mathematics textbook content aligned to the Australian Curriculum (Version 9.0) from planning through to completion • Overseeing content creation workflows and coordinating with internal team members • Conducting thorough reviews of all content to ensure rigorous alignment with Australian Curriculum content descriptions, achievement standards, and the mathematical proficiencies • Providing specific, actionable feedback that enables the internal team to make precise edits and maintain world-class quality standards • Championing the use of AI tools throughout the content development process to maximise productivity and quality • Continuously improving team processes and workflows by identifying opportunities to integrate new AI capabilities • Ensuring consistency in pedagogical approach, mathematical rigour, and year-level progression across all materials
