BESS Developer

Greenvolt Power Spain is looking for a BESS Developer who will be responsible for identifying, developing, and structuring energy storage projects (BESS) in Spain, from origination to ready-to-build stage. The role ensures Greenvolt Power expands its storage pipeline strategically, financially sound, and in compliance with local regulations.

Key accountabilities

• Experience in techno-economic modelling of energy storage projects, including system sizing, operational simulations, and investment-grade reporting. • In-depth understanding of EU and US BESS revenue frameworks, market dynamics, and value-stacking strategies. • Strong knowledge of Capacity Markets, Ancillary Services, and Continuous Trading Markets. • Active support to development teams in the technical and commercial assessment of new opportunities. • Contribution to the design, development, and ongoing management of analytical and financial modelling tools. • Hands-on experience with industry-standard modelling platforms such as SAM, HOMER, and MATLAB toolboxes.
