To join the PRODUCT team of ZIPPY at our headquarters in Maia, we are looking for:

JUNIOR SOURCING TECHNICIAN / BUYER 

 
Responsibilities:

 -  Manage suppliers portfolio, source, evaluate and select suppliers to deliver the right apparel at the right time throughout the year;

-  Negotiation with suppliers to achieve the best conditions in terms of cost price, delivery time, product quality and service;
-  Execution and compliance of the purchase budget for its product range, in accordance with the Product Management guidelines;

-  Work collaboratively with Designers and Merchandising to ensure that the right product ends up in the right stores at the right time;

- Preparation and submission of orders, as well as confirmation of quantities and delivery dates;
- Monitoring orders, ensuring compliance with delivery deadlines (time-to-market);- Management and updating of databases;

- Active search for new sourcing origins and business models to deliver the desired results;

- Identify product opportunity by constantly reviewing the competition and inspirational brands.

Requirements:
 - Academic background in Management, Economics, Textile Engineering or similar;

- Good know how about national and international market;

- Experience in similar functions in fashion retail;

- Strong negotiation skills;
- Work effectively under pressure;
- Results oriented;
- Fluency in English (written and spoken);

- Availability to travel.
