The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Friday schedule, working three 12 hour shifts and one 8 hour shift. The hours are 6pm to 6am and 6pm to 4am. To assist the shift supervisor with daily operations utilizing hands on role with shipping, receiving, order selection, inventory control, safety, reconditioning and sanitation. This position will act as a backup lead during times when no shift coverage is available and at times when schedules are heavy and additional supervision is required. Lead pay rate will be paid during the time required for the position. • Ensure all team members are following SOP’s and are operating safely. Identify and report to management and supervisor safety and operating issues. • Assist in operational planning and support daily receipts, shipments, audits and order selection. • Respond, troubleshoot, and resolve laser guided vehicle (LGV) alarm and alerts. • Reconcile inventory reporting. • Assist with on-the-job training for distribution team members. • Ensure shift follows good housekeeping and sanitation procedures. • Provide clerical support to the distribution operations. • Departmental specific lead if necessary. • Aid in the inventory control and lot traceability initiates. • Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate with job tasks and area • Other duties as assigned. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Years of Experience: 0 years – 3 years
