Bilingual Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our remote healthcare team. This is a dual front-office and back-office position that requires strong clinical knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to provide outstanding patient support in a virtual environment. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, has extensive experience using athenahealth (athenaOne), and is comfortable managing a high volume of patient interactions while working independently from home. This role requires someone who can confidently balance administrative responsibilities with clinical support, including patient triage, prescription refill requests, referral coordination, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and documentation within the EMR. Please note: Experience with athenahealth (athenaOne) and bilingual English/Spanish fluency are mandatory requirements for this position.
