Bookkeeper - Accountant Level
Apply NowWe are looking for a Bookkeeper - Accountant Level who will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information for a business. This role requires a deeper understanding of accounting principles than a standard bookkeeper, including handling more complex financial tasks. Key Responsibilities: • Financial Recordkeeping: • Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable. • Manage bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: • Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports. • Assist in creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Tax Preparation and Compliance: • Assist in tax return preparation by organizing financial data and preparing documentation for external accountants. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, filing necessary forms.
• Accounts Management: • Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely billing and collections. • Monitor and manage payroll, expense reimbursements, and other financial obligations.
• Auditing and Internal Controls: • Assist in auditing processes by providing accurate financial data and supporting documents. • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: • Support the preparation of company budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. • Provide analysis and insights to management regarding financial performance and areas for improvement.
