Role PurposeThe Virtual Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing client accounts, and ensuring all bookkeeping processes are completed efficiently and in compliance with U.S. accounting standards. Key Responsibilities • Record financial transactions accurately and timely. • Conduct monthly account reconciliations (bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts). • Document and categorize transaction details according to client-specific Chart of Accounts. • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports as needed. • Maintain an organized accounting filing system within cloud platforms (Google Drive, QuickBooks Online, etc.). • Identify and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies in financial data. • Collaborate with the Senior Accountant and Client Account Managers on open items or variances. • Support the month-end closing process and ensure timely completion of deliverables. • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.
