Job Summary
The Business Analyst cum Technical Writer is responsible for translating business needs into clear, structured requirements while ensuring all technical and functional documentation is accurate, consistent, and usable. The role sits between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving clarity in requirements, processes, and system functionality.
This position involves gathering and analysing business requirements, mapping processes, and supporting solution design, alongside producing high-quality documentation such as business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures. The role ensures that both delivery teams and end users have a clear, shared understanding of systems and processes.
Working across multiple stakeholders, the role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to convert complex technical concepts into clear, practical documentation that supports implementation, adoption, and ongoing operations.
Job Description
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, and user guides.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams and project managers to ensure requirement clarity.
- Conduct gap analysis and propose process improvements or system enhancements.
- Prepare workflows, use cases and process diagrams for better understanding.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent and aligned with project goals.
- Support testing activities by validating requirements and reviewing test cases.
- Manage version control and updates of all technical and business documents.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams for effective communication.
Skill
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
