Business Analyst

Position Title: Business Analyst

Locations: Head Office

Job Purpose:

The main purpose is to ensure proper alignment in the strategy and execution of sales, trade marketing and marketing.

• Key business partner for marketing manager and team.
• Take the lead on investment analysis to optimize resource allocation.
• Prepare commercial management report and insight.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and control of the commercial fixed and variable cost

• Cost building and reforecasting as part of the governance process (AP & RoFo)
• Monthly variance analysis and insight vs. plan and LY.
• Provides support in the usage of Accounts & Cost centers.
• Ensure all accruals & provisions are recoded properly and timely.
• Ensure cost control, accuracy, tracking and KPI follow-up.
• Ensure commerce performance reports properly shared and reviewed by marketing manager and team.

Ensure commercial spend Optimization.

• Monthly development of commercial fire power.
• Ensure execution of regional CSP guideline and Brand role framework.
• Addresses and reinforce cost optimizing initiatives and opportunities.

Planning and Control of Marketing investment:

• CAPEX planning, deployment
• Processing of Fund Application
• Business case development and insight

Ensure the accuracy and correctness of the cost base.

• Monitor purchase contracts and ensure allocation to relevant account.
• Control and review the monthly accrual of commercial costs.

In addition to the above the business analyst participates to all necessary ad-hoc analysis requests/activities within the Business Control Team.

Job Requirements

Education

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting Degree

Experience and skills

• 2-4 years’ experience in management accounting/ controlling preferably within FMCG.

  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work on ERP system.
  • Advanced excel skill
