You will play a key role in shaping how our solutions are positioned and communicated to clients, ensuring both business relevance and technical feasibility.
Job description
1. Strategy & Market Intelligence
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Review business plans and execute local GTM strategies, identifying key channels and technology vendors to partner with. Develop action plans to meet short and long-term sales growth objectives.
- Market Insight: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics (specifically in MarTech and cross-border e-commerce) to provide strategic recommendations and guide sales approaches.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, panel discussions, and keynotes to build brand visibility and a strong business pipeline.
2. Consultative Sales & Solution Design
- Client Needs Analysis: Deeply analyze prospective clients' pain points in marketing and data applications. Clarify their business objectives to propose precise MarTech, CDP, CRM, or Data Analysis solutions.
- Solution Blueprinting: Translate complex client requirements into actionable solution blueprints and proposals. Work with internal consultants and technical teams to draft feasibility assessments and quotations.
- Pitch Leadership: Lead client pitches, RFP responses, and presales presentations. Utilize storytelling and data visualization to articulate the value proposition effectively to senior stakeholders.
3. Pipeline Management & Partnerships
- Business Development: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, leading conversations with strategic prospects and ensuring a seamless process from requirement gathering to contract signing.
- Relationship Management: Nurture long-term relationships with senior clients and key technology partners (e.g., Google, Adobe, Salesforce) to accelerate deal velocity and expand cooperation.
- Sales Operations: Establish and optimize standardized proposal processes and knowledge bases to enhance team efficiency.
4. Collaboration & Leadership
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Orchestrate internal resources (Consultants, Product, Technical teams) to ensure proposals are technically sound and commercially viable.
- Regional Coordination: Collaborate with regional and global offices to manage multi-market accounts and align on global best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in B2B consultative sales, business development, or presales roles.
- Background in Digital Agencies, Consultancy Firms, or MarTech SaaS companies is essential.
- Familiarity with the MarTech ecosystem, including CDP, CRM, DMP, GA4, Data Middle Platforms, and Customer Journey Optimization.
- Experience with Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and Marketing Clouds (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe) is highly preferred.
- Understanding of China cross-border e-commerce or export industry demands is a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent written, visual, and oral communication skills. Ability to simplify complex data/architecture concepts into compelling stories for business leaders.
- Native Chinese speaker and business-level proficiency in English
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn abstract requirements into concrete project scopes.
- High business acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit.
