About The Role

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll play a key role in delivering trusted, high‑quality analytics that support informed decision‑making across the organisation. Your focus will be on designing, optimising and evolving Power BI semantic models that are scalable, well‑governed and performance‑driven, with a strong emphasis on future‑ready, AI‑enabled analytics.

You’ll work closely with data engineering teams and business stakeholders to ensure models align with enterprise architecture, governance standards and business needs. A key part of the role will be improving existing models by reducing complexity, eliminating redundancy and enhancing usability, while maintaining secure and reliable datasets.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, build and optimise Power BI semantic models to support enterprise reporting and analytics
  • Refactor and enhance existing models to improve performance, scalability and maintainability
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to align BI models with enterprise data architecture
  • Implement and uphold modelling, DAX and governance standards across the Power BI environment
  • Manage certified datasets, including Row‑Level Security (RLS) and Object‑Level Security (OLS)
  • Enhance reporting solutions to deliver clear, actionable insights for stakeholders

 

You’ll also be responsible for:

  • Monitoring Power BI performance, usage and service health
  • Supporting AI‑ and Copilot‑ready semantic models and advanced analytics capabilities
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of BI tools, standards and practices
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to other analysts within the BI team
