Position:

 

We are currently seeking a Business Strategy Intern with a focus on event management, communications, and marketing for the Fall term in our Montreal office, from September to December 2026. Undergraduate students who will return to their studies after the internship, as well as those who will not, are encouraged to apply.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Strategies team in the execution and follow-up of strategic initiatives
  • Coordinate university events across the country and professional events with our partners in Quebec (planning, logistics, follow-ups, and participant experience)
  • Occasionally support the Business Strategies team at local events
  • Contribute to the drafting and distribution of event-related communications (emails, presentations, articles, social media posts)
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and market studies to optimize our outreach, recruitment, and partnership initiatives
  • Create, maintain, and continuously improve tracking tools to measure project and event progress, performance, and impact
  • Participate in the optimization of processes related to events, communications, and partner coordination
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure alignment of initiatives
  • Contribute to special projects related to the development and positioning of our strategic initiatives

 

Requirements:

  • Student currently enrolled in a relevant field (communications, marketing, business administration, or equivalent), who may or may not be returning to school after the internship
  • Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and collaborative tools such as OneDrive, SharePoint, and MS Teams
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to simplify and explain concepts clearly
  • Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to interact with a wide range of partners
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and rigor
  • Strong organizational skills with a structured approach

 

An asset:

  • Knowledge of the financial industry or an interest in the financial sector
  • Experience in content creation (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
  • Experience in event coordination
  • Experience with project management tools

The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is $49,000 - $51,000 which is determined based on year of study, IGM program, geographic location and candidate’s skills, knowledge and experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for paid time off.
