Position Summary - We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to support data-driven decision-making by translating business needs into effective technical solutions. This role partners with cross-functional teams to analyze processes, define requirements, and improve operational efficiency.

What you’ll do

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
  • Translate requirements into user stories, workflows, and specifications
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and interviews
  • Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to ensure accurate delivery
  • Develop process documentation (e.g., workflows, BRDs, FRDs)
  • Support testing efforts, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, and risks; recommend solutions
  • Drive process improvements to enhance scalability and performance
  • Other duties may be assigned by management

What you’ll need

(Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
  • 2–5+ years of Business Analyst or similar experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
  • Proficiency in Excel and data tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Ability to work with large datasets
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of process modeling (BPMN, UML)
  • Relevant certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA)
  • Experience in construction or similar industries

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Primarily sedentary work involving prolonged periods of sitting and computer use

  • Ability to use standard office equipment (computer, phone, etc.)
  • Work is performed in a professional office environment

The wage range for Business Systems Analyst is $70,000.00  - $110,000.00.
