Role: TM Plant Process QA
Position: Assistant Manager – Plant Quality
Department: Quality Assurance | Grade: M1
Reporting To: Manager – Plant Quality

Purpose: Ensure in-process quality by meeting product specifications and improving processes to reduce defects, waste, and rework, ensuring quality at customer end.

KPAs:

• 100% audit compliance
• Reduction in defects, tyre weight variation, and compound hold-up
• Improvement in 5S

Responsibilities:

• Implement in-process quality control and inspection systems
• Monitor shop floor, review inspections, logs, and SOP adherence
• Analyze defects, perform RCA, and drive CAPA
• Handle customer complaints and warranty issues
• Ensure containment actions (line stop/quarantine) during deviations
• Conduct audits and support ISO/IATF/customer audits
• Track quality metrics (rejection, scrap, etc.) and update SAP
• Maintain documentation as per standards

Education/Experience: B.E./B.Tech with 2–5 years in manufacturing quality
