Position Title

Assistant Manager, Digital Products (Web)

Manager, Digital Products

Position Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of web-based products by ensuring a seamless alignment between overarching business objectives, evolving user requirements, and technical feasibility. Acting as a critical link between high-level strategy and tactical execution, the incumbent will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to drive the delivery of high-quality digital experiences that enhance the brand's online presence.

Key Accountability

  1. Product Strategy & Vision Support
  • Assist in shaping the product roadmap by gathering insights from stakeholders, market trends, and user feedback.
  • Help define short- and long-term goals for web platforms aligned with business objectives
  1. Backlog Management & Prioritization
  • Maintain and groom the product backlog, ensuring clarity and prioritization of user stories and tasks
  • Balance business value, technical feasibility, and user impact when ranking backlog items
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as a liaison between business units, developers, designers, and QA teams to ensure alignment on product features
  • Facilitate workshops or discovery sessions to gather requirements and validate solutions
  1. User Experience & Feature Development
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements and wireframes
  • Work with UX/UI teams to ensure intuitive and accessible design across devices
  1. Sprint & Agile Process Participation
  • Support sprint planning by preparing backlog items and clarifying acceptance criteria
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to track progress and remove blockers
  1. Analytics & Performance Monitoring
  • Use tools like Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Cloudflare to monitor user behaviour and identify friction points
  1. Quality Assurance (QA) & Testing
  • Collaborate with QA to define test cases and ensure features meet acceptance criteria
  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and gather feedback for continuous improvement
  1. Stakeholder Communication
  • Prepare presentations and demos to showcase product progress and upcoming releases
  • Collect feedback from internal teams and external users to refine product direction
  1. Compliance & Standards
  • Ensure web products comply with accessibility standards, data privacy regulations and security protocols
  • Coordinate with legal and IT teams to validate compliance requirements

Qualification & Working Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or a relevant field of study
  • Minimum 3-5 years of working experience with Digital Platforms

Area of Experience

  • Web, Digital and basic coding knowledge, experience in AEM or CMS is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., DevOps)
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, CMS platforms, and SEO principles
