Summary
The Processor - Inventory will be heavily involved in processing audio visual related equipment into our inventory. This includes receiving of the equipment, preparation of the equipment for use and shipment to and from our warehouse locations
This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Dallas, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Handles and prepares new equipment for inventory according to established procedures and guidance from department Lead/Supervisor/Manager
- Processes (bar-code) new inventory via established procedures including, but not limited to, verifying make & model of equipment against paper-work, accurately recording serial numbers, etc
- Assists in unloading, separating, packing and redistributing items to required branches
- Produces processing instruction sheets
- Perform general assembly and packaging of equipment as needed
- Loads equipment into cases and stencil cases with appropriate branch codes and descriptions
- Assists in prepping finished products (pallets, straps, shrink wrap, etc.) for shipping to appropriate branches
- Maintains a clean and organized work area. Helps maintain warehousing area and compacting area
- Assists in organizing equipment stored in the asset prep lock-up cage
- Ensures clear and accurate information on processing documents for inventory system. Helps maintain uniformity of bar-code placement on equipment and stenciling of cases
- Executes related duties assigned by Departmental Lead/Supervisor/Manager
- Assists other departments as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
