About the Role
You’ll take ownership of regional new business performance - leading a team of Business Development Consultants and a Sales Coordinator to deliver against ambitious growth targets. From pipeline to activation and early trading, you’ll ensure every opportunity is commercially robust and operationally achievable.
This role is critical in translating national strategy into regional execution, ensuring consistent performance across revenue, volume, and margin.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing business development team
- Drive disciplined pipeline management, prospecting, and conversion performance
- Deliver consistent new business acquisition and successful customer onboarding
- Own regional accountability for pricing integrity, yield, and margin outcomes
- Ensure strong governance across pipeline, forecasting, and deal quality
- Monitor early trading performance and drive corrective action where required
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support growth
What you’ll bring
- Proven leadership experience in business development or sales environments
- Strong track record of delivering new business growth and team performance
- Ability to build disciplined sales processes and pipeline management
- Commercial acumen with experience in pricing, margin, and deal governance
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience using CRM systems and sales performance reporting tools such as Power BI
