Our Team, Your Impact
The incumbent ensures on-time, in-full product supply to all markets globally while maintaining cost, quality, and compliance targets. This role is designed to lead a high-efficiency, reliable operational model overseeing a portfolio of more than 60 external partners (SC team of around 35 people).
This is a key leadership role focused on execution excellence, productivity, and scalability, ensuring reliable supply (portfolio of almost 400 products, > 4000 SKUs, supporting close to $1.2bn revenue), compliance, and cost competitiveness while minimizing complexity and management overhead. The role supports tactical and strategic partnerships within the External Manufacturing organization to strengthen supply network resilience and to ensure proactive risk mitigation.
How You’ll Spend Your Day

Supply Chain Execution
- Own all operational activities related to order management and product supply for existing and launch portfolio
- Actively support Global Processes like AOP, master data management and ensure alignment to GSCM processes and policies
- Ensures transparent communication with commercial markets for all supply, supply readiness and demand topics
- Ensure supply reliability and service levels through disciplined execution and issue resolution.
- Drive simplification and harmonization across the portfolio (product, processes, and supplier base).

Operating Model & Productivity Optimization
- Lead a low-touch operating model, maximizing output with minimal resource intensity.
- Define and continuously improve standardized ways of working across CMOs and in licensing partners.
- Leverage digital tools, dashboards, and automation to reduce manual intervention.
- Drive productivity benchmarks and ensure best-in-class efficiency levels.

Governance & Performance Management
- Lead & enhance S&OE, S&OP, Constraint processes for Core Portfolio
- Monitor performance through KPIs (CSL. OTIF etc), dashboards, and exception-based management.
- Implement proactive management of anticipated future supply challenges via Tiered performance governance model.

Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Implement proactive, standardized risk management practices leveraging central support.
- Balance efficiency with acceptable supply risk exposure.

Cost & Financial Performance
- Actively lead Goods Receipt, Cash Flow Management, Inventory Management initiatives using all applicable levers under Supply Chain function purview

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Collaborate with SRMs, Quality, MS&T, Procurement and Business Operations.
- Leverage centralized GSC functions for expertise-heavy activities.

Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Develop and implement new ways of working with stakeholders (internal and external).
- Drive standarisation of processes, governance, and stakeholder interactions where and when required.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digital workflows.
- Support transformation initiatives within ExM.

- Lead and develop a lean, agile organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, speed, and continuous improvement.
- Build capabilities in performance, scenario development and risk management
Your Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field

15+ years of experience managing supply chain activities in an SAP environment

Proven leadership experience managing global teams

Strong track record in operational execution and performance management

Preferred
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, Engineering, or related field)
- Previous experience in a large pharma company and/or FMCG company
- Experience with digital tools, analytics, and process automation
- Lean / Six Sigma or equivalent experience
