What You'll Do:

1. Work with Senior Officers to Implement departmental and network reinforcement projects to ensure consumer demand and network security are met efficiently
2. Supervise contractors’ work diligently, ensuring that all projects are executed in accordance with ISO Quality Procedures and Operating Instructions, safe work procedures, good engineering practices, and that cables/equipment installed comply with specifications
3. Supervise the contractors in the implementing of projects
4. Assist Senior Officers during HT switching operations
5. Assist Senior Officers in conducting partial discharge test on newly commissioned HT cables
6. Conduct site safety audit
7. Liaise with relevant authorities and private land owners on road opening matters
8. Monitor project expenditures
9. Supervise contractors in installation of switchgear, transformer, LV Board, LV Overground Box, cable and substation earthing & miscellaneous works
10. Attend to customers’ requests and complaints
11. Issue work orders, installation orders and vouchers
12. Verify site works, measurements and process payment claims
13. Update records in NOVA system
14. Perform standby duties

What You'll Need:

1. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from any of the recognised Polytechnics in Singapore
2. Capability to engage key stakeholders and customers
3. Strong technical background, with project management skills to be able to manage quickly evolving and complex projects
4. Good grasp of using Microsoft applications, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
5. Able to work independently, as well as in a team in a challenging environment
