Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

To assist in performing oil service of all equipment & generator
To assist in performing welding if necessary
To assist in performing washing and greasing of equipment
To assist in maintaining the hopper used for ship discharge
To assist in refilling diesel on generators
To assist in performing changeover of generator power supply
To assist in monitoring kilometer reading and reporting to workshop for service due
To assist in monitoring generator in the jetty side
To maintain housekeeping in the workshop area
To do other jobs as required

Other Responsibilities:

Strictly following the safe working practices & safety rules of the organization as per HS&E Policy.
Strictly Follow the Safety Instruction related to the Jobs.
Keep issued PPE in good and workable condition.
Do not allow any unsafe PPE usage by staff; report PPE damages to concerned authority.
Avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, Equipment, and welfare facilities.
Should attend the safety training scheduled for them.
Have right to say” NO” to any unsafe work.
SBT / On the Job training / Toolbox Talks to the Sub-ordinates.
STOP program awareness & implementation.
Ensure standard practice is being followed & any deviation to be reported.
The employee will work in General Shift / Shift Rota as per company requirement.
Employee can be transfer to any production unit within company as per company requirement.
