Overall Purpose of the Job

Are you hands‑on, mechanically minded, and looking to grow your skills in a supportive workshop environment?
Join our team at Coretrax Cementing Technologies, where you’ll help maintain, repair, and prepare equipment that supports real operational work in the field.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem‑solving, and being part of a friendly, fast‑moving team.

You will receive full product training & work within an established competency and training program designed to support your development and progression in the role.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

  • Maintain & repair equipment
You will carry out routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and support repairs—ensuring everything meets our safety and quality standards.
  • Get involved with the equipment build-up
Assist with rigging up, assembling, and rigging down equipment used across our operations.
  • Operate workshop machinery
If you have forklift experience (3–15 tonne), great—if not, training can be provided.
  • Complete inspections & paperwork
You’ll check equipment, complete simple documentation, and make sure everything is up to date and compliant.
  • Work closely with other departments
You’ll regularly liaise with logistics, stores, and supervisors to keep jobs moving smoothly.
  • Be part of daily team huddles
Join short morning meetings to discuss safety, priorities, and upcoming operational activity.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

You don’t need to have oil & gas experience, we value practical, hands‑on skills from any industry.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • A mechanical background or a trade/technical qualification (advantageous but not essential)
  • Experience with any of the following (preferred):
    – Hydrostatic pressure testing
    – Torque machines

    – Workshop cranes
  • A full, clean UK driving licence for local delivery & collections (up to 3.5 tonne vehicles)
  • A forklift licence (3–15 T) or willingness to obtain one
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Outlook, Teams); SAP or ETM experience is a plus
  • Willingness to work both planned & short notice overtime, take part in an on‑call rota (about once per month), and very occasional overseas travel
