Working with expert tradespeople at CopRice, you will gain hands on experience and training in an industrial environment.

 

You will work with a trades team who will coach and guide you on the job as well as receive tertiary training in a TAFE environment.

 

We will value candidates that not only have technical capacity and a keen interest in the industry but who also possess drive, dedication and strong work and safety ethic.

 

Candidates who present as being confident in their own ability and show tenacity to work full time, study and complete course work will be highly regarded. 

 

In addition, key requirements in applying for this role are:

  • Commitment to study and completion of Certificate III in Engineering Trades
  • Completion of Year 10 or above, We also welcome mature age apprentices
  • A current Driver’s license
  • Evidence of Literacy and Numeracy aptitude
  • Ability to communicate professionally in writing and verbally
  • Basic skill in the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, small machinery and various static and mobile vehicles, plant and machinery
  • Basic computer skills including data entry and knowledge of Microsoft office suite
  • Ability and willingness to travel for block release study
