Role Type: Full time ongoing role
Salary: $70,310 - $79,681 per annum plus superannuation
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative and proactive professional to support our Engagement and Philanthropy team. In this role, you’ll help deliver thoughtful communications, maintain accurate supporter data, and contribute to campaigns that strengthen relationships with our valued donors — all supporting vital child health research.
About the Role
You’ll play a key part in ensuring every supporter interaction reflects care, appreciation and professionalism. From building donor communications and managing CRM data to responding to enquiries and supporting event communications, your work will help create seamless and engaging experiences for our supporters.
Working closely with the team, you’ll help maintain efficient systems, deliver high-quality communications, and support fundraising initiatives that make a real difference.

What you’ll do Â

Maintain and manage supporter data, including list generation, data uploads and basic reporting

Respond to enquiries from donors and colleagues via shared inboxes and phone

Support donors to make a gift over the phone or via the website

Build and deliver engaging donor communications (newsletters, appeals) through our EDM platform

Design visually appealing email banners using Canva in line with brand guidelines

Track and progress approval processes to ensure accurate and timely communications

Assist with simple reporting to help the team understand how communications are performing and identifying individuals for follow up

Provide flexible support across the Supporter Relations team, contributing to day-to-day tasks and team priorities

What you’ll bring
Â
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. data, fundraising, customer service, marketing or communications)
- Strong customer service skills with experience managing email and phone enquiries
- A collaborative mindset and ability to build positive working relationships
- High attention to detail, particularly in data entry and communications
- Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge or similar) and EDM/email marketing platforms (e.g. Constant Contact, Vision6, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot) is highly regarded
