What you’ll do:

Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. As a standalone company, the Mobility business will be more focused and agile, creating exciting opportunities for employees to grow, innovate, and help shape the future of mobility. The separation reflects strong confidence in the Mobility team and positions the new company as an employer of choice in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry.

The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

 

"Primary function
'•    The primary responsibility of this role is to Lead Pursuits, NPI or Cost Out Projects for Differntial Components and systems to meet customer specific technical, manufacturing and cost related requirements. 
•    Applicant shall have experience in design, development and validation of Differential components and systems for automotive and industrial OEMs. Applicant must be proficient with performing analytical design calculations, good understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack up analysis and manufacturing methods involving casting, forging and sheet-metal components.
•    The candidate must be self-motivated and possess good communication skills with cross functional team namely engineering, manufacturing, project management, marketing and supply chain.
•    Applicant must have strong problem solving skills and have demonstrated knowledge of Problem solving process like 8D, RedX etc."    
"Main Function
A.    Capturing Stakeholder Voice, Planning milestones, Executing milestones, participating in project Reviews, Communication and On job development through interaction with Engnieering Experts
B.    Performs Engineering assignments such as Deviation approval for production line Quality issues, Strategic product and process improvement, testing and preparation of specifications, process studies, or research investigations using appropriate tools and techniques
C.    Execute proto-type build, performance / durability testing, teardown of proto-type samples to evaluate product performance against customer requirements for concept level ideas as well as detailed design before product launch
D.    Utilize DFSS concepts / tools such as PDSC, P-Diagram, DFMEA, Risk Management & DVPR for Manufacturing issue resolution and Existing product improvements and drive NPI efficacy in projects and team
E.Drives Profitable Reliable Ontime Launch execution for NPI programs with work package approvals, engineering management plan and attaining all engineering deliverables per activity matrix
F.    Creates, and sustains process for design standards and procedures governing product design methods, documents and data control for the associated business group
G.    Utilizes understanding of manufacturing processes to improve new and existing designs & acts as a technical resource for internal / external customers and resolves technical challenges

Qualifications:

•BE/ME/MTech/MS in Mechanical /Automobile Engineering (IIT /NIT or any other reputed college will be added advantage)
BE with 4~5 years or ME/MTech with 1-3 years of engineering/product design experience in relevant domain. 

Skills:

"•    Proven track record in engineering Design, Analysis, R&D or Application Engineering domain 
•    Knowledge about typical Manufacturing and Assembly processes
•    Knowledge of EV and ICE Driveline testing
•    Experience in Engineering Change Management. Enovia is prefered.
•    Excellent English communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
•    Team player with highly effective interpersonal and collaboration skills"
