Job Purpose:

To ensure full compliance with statutory, labour, and contractor-related regulations by monitoring, auditing, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role is responsible for ensuring timely adherence to all legal requirements and internal compliance standards, while minimizing audit non-conformities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor contractor compliance through regular audits, verification, and documentation checks.
  • Ensure all statutory compliances related to factory licensing, labor laws, and contractor management are adhered to.
  • Maintain and update compliance dashboards, trackers, and statutory registers.
  • Ensure timely submission and closure of compliance requirements such as PF, Gratuity, Bonus, and RC renewals.
  • Conduct periodic compliance audits and ensure closure of audit observations within defined timelines.
  • Verify and maintain updated contractor records, including P-files and statutory registers.
  • Manage all compliance-related correspondence with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Ensure vendor and contractor audits are completed without major non-conformities (NCs).
  • Prepare and monitor annual compliance calendars and track adherence.
  • Generate and present compliance reports, dashboards, and audit summaries to management.
  • Follow up regularly with contractors on monthly compliance submissions and corrective actions.
  • Draft and submit compliance-related communications, notices, and letters.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, dashboards, and compliance tracking tools.
  • Audit handling and follow-up capability.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Law, or related field. / MSW/ MBA with labour law, diploma or degree
  • 1–5 years of experience in compliance, labor laws, or statutory management.
  • Experience in manufacturing or plant environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with PF, ESIC, Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.

Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • 100% statutory compliance adherence.
  • Timely closure of audit observations.
  • Zero or minimal major non-conformities in audits.
  • Accuracy and completeness of compliance documentation.
  • Timely contractor compliance submissions.
