Role Mission:

For our sales team in Austria, we are looking for a Factory Automation Territory Account Manager who shares our passion for industrial automation solutions and Industry 4.0. In this role, you will not only manage a defined sales territory but also take responsibility for strategically important key applications and customers, actively driving their development and success.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking full ownership of the acquisition, development, and ongoing support of customers within a defined DACH sales territory following comprehensive training in products and sales processes;
  • Identifying, managing, and developing key applications and strategically relevant customers, proactively addressing their needs and positioning our solutions as preferred technologies;
  • Expanding and maintaining existing customer and sales partner relationships, creating tailored technical and commercial proposals, and leading contract negotiations;
  • Preparing and delivering product and solution presentations at customer sites, system integrators, OEMs, and trade fairs;
  • Identifying new business opportunities, applications, and market potential through proactive sales activities, directly contributing to the achievement of sales targets;
  • Contributing to the development and execution of sales and market strategies, with a strong focus on application-driven sales approaches;
  • Working from a home office or our office in Langen (Hesse) while regularly traveling throughout the sales territory to support customers on site, reflecting the size and strategic importance of the region;
  • Making a lasting contribution to the company’s long-term success through ideas, market feedback, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

 

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, business administration or a comparable qualification as a technician/master craftsman or you are a real sales enthusiast.
  • Languages: Fluency in German and English, any additional language skills are a plus but not necessary.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant Sales experience, particularly selling to Industrial customers. Experience in working with Automation Products like Barcode Scanners, Sensors, Safety, Laser Markers or Vision Systems will be preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary (RAL): €60,000–€70,000
  • Variable compensation

The final compensation package (including base salary and potential variable incentives) will be defined based on the candidate's experience, technical expertise, and overall fit for the role.
