HSE Business Partner

The Role

You will work closely with site leaders and teams to uphold HSE standards and contribute to achieving our safety goals. You will provide guidance on regulatory compliance, conduct site audits, lead risk assessments, be a visible safety leader and support the implementation of HSE systems and initiatives.

This role involves regular travel to sites in Regional Western Australia and requires a hands-on approach to working with key leaders and identifying improvement opportunities, managing HSE projects, and ensuring safe operations.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with operational leaders to provide HSE advice and ongoing practical support.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
  • Lead and participate in incident investigations using established methodologies.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of HSE systems and processes.
  • Provide HSE training, coaching, and mentoring to employees and contractors.
  • Draft incident reports, lessons learned bulletins, and hazard alerts and other documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and project manage HSE deliverables

What you’ll bring

  • You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
  • Tertiary Qualifications in OH&S, HSE or a related discipline (or equivilant experience)
  • Dimploma of WHS or relevant industry experience, coupled with strong knowledge of HSE legislation and Management systems
  • Experience in Project Management
  • You are skilled in risk assessment and incident investigation and have escellent communication skills.
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • WA Dangerous Goods Security Card or ability to obtain
