The Role
To lead the Reliability & Improvement Rotating Equipment function across Moranbah by interpreting technical standards, developing and reviewing strategies to operate and maintain rotating equipment, and analysing and continuously improving performance through collaboration with Engineering and Operations teams.
• Lead rotating equipment reliability and improvement strategies across site
• Ensure all rotating equipment assets have effective life plans and maintenance strategies
• Conduct root cause analysis and reliability studies to improve equipment performance
• Deliver and support reliability improvement and capital projects
• Monitor compliance with engineering, safety and statutory standards
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and Projects to optimise equipment performance
What you’ll bring
• You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience with trade qualification
• Experience in rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines and related systems
• Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, root cause analysis and maintenance strategies
• Experience in heavy industry such as petrochemical, power generation or similar environmentsIf you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn’t align 100% we still want to hear from you.

The Site
The Dyno Nobel Moranbah Plant is a fully integrated Ammonium Nitrate complex based in Central Queensland, operating on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna People. The facility comprises Ammonia, Nitric Acid and Ammonium Nitrate plants plus infrastructure, utilities, power generation and housing to support the permanent workforce.
