Summary

This role will primarily be responsible for creating, updating, and finalizing the demand plan of Flex & Smart Panel equipment for each show within the branch’s region. They will collaborate with growth, branch operations, and use Freeman tools to accurately project & identify equipment needs for all events. Will be the primary operator and point of contact for our Freeman enterprise inventory system. Role will support the Modular Build Systems team in the warehouse and show site.   Show site supervision will be required at times. Support a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures, taking personal responsibility for safety, reporting hazards or concerns promptly, and contributing to a culture that prioritizes safety every day.

 

This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Atlanta, GA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Forecast all modular build systems equipment for upcoming shows using passport, details, history of the show, and communications with growth.
  • Maintain an accurate forecast demand vs event actuals metrics.
  • Manage a running & accurate inventory count of relevant equipment.
  • Identify equipment rollover opportunities & provide insight to upcoming rollover possibilities.
  • Manage incoming & outgoing logistics for all EIS tracked pieces of equipment.
  • Use critical thinking to identify substitutions when shortages arise due to heavy volume or logistic issues.
  • Plan and produce Modular Build Systems, Total Flex Systems, and Truss Structures in accordance with work orders received from Account Executives, the Exhibitor Sales.
  • Department and the Exhibitor Services Department while keeping job costs at the lowest possible level and maintaining quality, safety, and customers service standards.
  • Receive work orders and drawings from the Exhibit Systems Manager.
  • Review orders and understand which orders are special orders and how to accomplish the final results.
  • Produce work orders to other departments as needed including custom cut requests for the Carpenter Shop.
  • Provide accurate information to the Graphics Department for substrate sizes.
  • Follow-up with items ordered from other departments.
  • Follow-up to make sure special order materials were received.
  • Pack and stage all exhibit elements including stock materials and special order items.
  • Review packing lists.
  • Forward set-up drawing revisions to detailer.
  • Review inventory work orders and returns to the Account Executive, Exhibitor Services and/or Sales accurately.
  • Promote and provide a high level of customer service and handle any issues according to Company guidelines.
  • Maintain quality control to ensure Company standards are met with direct in-house labor, with regard to one-on-one pulling and packing.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs to solicit customer feedback to improve service.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Complete required safety training and apply safe work practices at all times.
  • Immediately report any workplace accidents, near misses, hazards, or unsafe conditions to a manager or through an appropriate reporting channel.
  • Participate in safety discussions and communicate concerns or feedback openly to help maintain a safe work environment.
  • Use tools, equipment, and protective gear properly to prevent injuries and incidents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years of related experience and/or training.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Flex & Smart Panel Systems preferred.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and applicable OSHA requirements.
  • Ability to consistently follow safety rules and contribute to a positive safety culture.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Forklift certification may be required.
  • OSHA 10 Certification required.
