Role: TL Plant Process QA
Position: Manager – OEM QA
Department: Quality Assurance | Grade: M2
Reporting To: GM – Quality Assurance

Purpose

Ensure product quality as per defined process standards by minimizing defects, rework, and waste, while driving continuous improvement and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

Improve in-process quality
Reduce rejection, rework, and COPQ
Resolve customer complaints
Ensure effective audits and drive improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

Strategic
Lead and guide shift quality teams
Support execution of plant quality strategy

Plant Quality
Plan and monitor inspections and control plans
Conduct audits and review key process parameters
Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Manage rejections, rework, and process deviations
Collaborate with Production, Design, and Vendors
Support calibration and quality cost tracking

Customer & OEM
Manage OEM interface and customer interactions
Handle complaints with structured analysis and closure
Participate in customer reviews and build confidence
MIS & Compliance
Update SAP and generate reports
Track key quality metrics
Ensure compliance with IATF, ISO, and BIS standards

Digital & Analytics
Use Power BI, Tableau, and SAP
Drive dashboards, automation, and digital initiatives
OEM / PPAP & MR
Manage PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, SPC, and MSA
Handle customer audits and scorecards
Act as Management Representative (MR) for QMS

PDI & Audit
Ensure PDI effectiveness
Reduce final rejections
Conduct product and process audits

Education & Experience

B.E./B.Tech with relevant quality certifications and 10+ years of experience in manufacturing quality.
