About the Position
If you are passionate and skilled in the use of data, data analytics and reporting, to derive insights and improve business operations, SARS is looking for you. This role is suited to someone who is comfortable working across the end-to-end business value chain, translating operational data into meaningful insights that support better decision-making.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of regional reporting and monitoring, conducting analytics to provide insights to drive business improvement, proactively identify problems, develop/recommend solutions, and support business to deliver against their objectives.
Job Purpose
To provide expertise, advice and support to develop operational implementation plans and / or associated service delivery processes, by analysing and improving the effectiveness of the workforce within. Implement effective interventions to ensure all key performance targets are met, in order to continuously enhance service delivery. We are seeking a capable and motivated individual to support our department through data-driven reporting, insight generation and system solution development.
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualification & Experience Required
BCom Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Information Systems, Data Analytics or Computer Science or similar AND 5-7 years' experience in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence, of which 2-3 years is at a functional specialist level.
Minimum Functional Requirements
Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 10 years’ experience in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence, of which 2-3 years is at a functional specialist level.

- Be observant and engage on possible violations and standards of conduct and escalate where necessary.
