Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and performance of the plant, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and control. This role involves managing the plant's budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring costs and variances, analyzing financial data, and providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides support in reviewing and understanding data related to work centers, routers, costing rollups/analysis, data integrity/reporting, and ongoing decision support as needed.
  • Monitor capital and major expense projects.
  • Support inventory management through physical inventories and cycle counting.  Ensures compliance with policies.
  • Prepares reconciliations, commentary, and journal entries for various transactions and ensures reviews comply with regulatory documentation and approval requirements
  • Manages the annual operating plan working closely with the Product Line Management and Operations team to set targets.
  • Prepare and review weekly and monthly financial results, establishing both short-term and long-term forecasts.
  • Analyzes variances and guides the organization for cost reduction opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • 6+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with accounting principles, financial analysis/reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements, cost accounting and inventory management concepts.
  • Requires occasional travel (10-15%)

Additional Information:

Compensation for this position will be determined based on various factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity. The expected salary range for this role is between $110,000 and $155,000. Additional compensation may include but is not limited to, bonus programs and an employee stock purchase plan.
