Job Summary
St. Cecilia Academy and School. is seeking a dependable and caring Classroom Aide to support teachers in creating a positive, organized, and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will assist with classroom instruction, help maintain a structured and respectful atmosphere, and support the academic and personal growth of students.
Job Responsibilities
● Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities, including small-group and individual support.
● Help maintain a structured, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
● Prepare classroom materials, organize supplies, and assist with routine tasks.
● Support students with varying learning needs under the direction of the teacher.
● Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other non-instructional times.
● Encourage positive behavior and reinforce classroom expectations.
● Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and students to support daily classroom operations.
Job Requirements
● Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting preferred.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills.
● Ability to follow directions and work both independently and as part of a team.
● Patience, reliability, and a positive, student-centered attitude.
● Commitment to supporting the mission and values of St. Cecilia Academy and School.
