Your Opportunity:
Under the general direction of the Medical Director, the Clinic Manager is an integral member of the David L. MacIntosh Sport Medicine Clinic leadership team. They will assume a leadership role in ensuring administrative policies are in place and followed to support the effective and efficient operation of the Clinic. Key areas of responsibility include; Clinic Operations and Service Quality Management, Financial Management including budget management, Human Resource Management and Interface Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
The incumbent must have a relevant university degree, or have achieved the equivalent in education or experience. A Master’s degree in health care administration or similar field considered an asset. Post-graduate education or continuing education in administration, human resources, statistics, and financial management is an asset.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ progressively senior clinic management experience, preferably in a sport medicine clinic. A minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising the work of others, providing leadership, preferably in a unionized environment. Experience managing budgets and statistical data is required. Experience with Ontario Health and/or other health care agencies is an asset. Strong customer services experience, with a focus on service excellence. Experience with an EMR required. Experience and demonstrated commitment to equity and diversity in an educational sport and recreation environment.
Skills:
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, work collaboratively and implement strategies to find the best approach in a dynamic environment is required. Flexibility to adapt to and manage changing priorities as well as experience leading change management processes.
Other:
Exceptional organizational, teamwork, time management, and interpersonal skills are required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Advanced computer skills are necessary.
