Role Type: Permanent Full Time
Salary: $110,279 - $134,292 p.a plus super

The opportunity

Working within the Software Systems and Integration Unit, you will design and build data pipelines, systems and dashboards that enable near real-time monitoring, reporting and analysis of laboratory and clinical data.

 

You will collaborate closely with scientists, developers and operational teams to create scalable, reliable and auditable data solutions with opportunities to contribute to emerging AI-enabled analytics.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows integrating laboratory and clinical systems
  • Develop dashboards and visualisations to support monitoring, reporting and analysis
  • Ensure data quality, governance and traceability across datasets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate clinical and operational needs into data solutions
  • Support the development of AI-assisted and analytical tools
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data systems, processes and infrastructure

 

What you’ll bring

 

  • Relevant qualification in data science, computer science, or similar
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and workflows
  • Strong programming skills (e.g. Python)
  • Solid experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g. Git)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in data governance, validation and quality practices
